The concept of solid state fermentation used in Nutraferma's products is based upon ancient Korean traditions of fermentation in human foods, such as kimchi (spiced fermented cabbage) and doenjang (fermented soybean paste). Parent company Genebiotech built upon these traditions to perfect a manufacturing process for the animal feed industry that draws upon beneficial microbial activity to improve nutrient availability in the finished products and digestive health in the animal.

Though a young company in its own right, Nutraferma utilizes the expert research staff of Genebiotech to maintain superior R&D support. Six PhD and six MS researchers stand behind our products and provide constant innovation.
